The FSW-0811 LevelOne is an 8-port compact Fast Ethernet Switch. It is a high performance, cost-effective and easy-to-use network switch to expand the home and office network.
Features:
Plug-and Play expansion of home network or office The 8 port Fast Ethernet switch LevelOne is an easy-to-install "plug-and-play" switch, which allows the user to either create a Local Area Network (LAN) or connect additional network devices such as network cameras, storage devices or printing servers to an established network.
Fast Ethernet Switching Architecture The FSW-0811 sends 200Mbps of bandwidth by port and incorporates a cable and non-lock speed switching architecture, for a perfect transfer of data through the network. All ports support Auto-MDI/MDIX cense, eliminating the need for cross wires or connection ports. Each port can be used as a general network port or as connection ports within a router, server, hub or other network switch.
Activated Connection Detection : A green device LevelOne you can tell if there is activity in each single LAN port. If a 5-port switch has only 3 active devices connected to it, it saves energy as traffic is not directed to the 2 inactive ports.
Detection of Cable Length: The switch is able to detect the distance of the connected device and adjust its energy according to this. For example, if on a green switch LevelOne there is a computer connected to 10 meters away will consume less energy than a computer connected to 100 meters.
Sleep mode: The device will enter sleep/wait mode when connected devices are turned off or active connections are not detected. This helps save energy for long periods of network inactivity, such as nights, weekends and holidays.
