What this product is for

TP-LINK’s TL-WA850RE is designed to comfortably expand coverage and improve the signal intensity of an existing wireless network to eliminate “dead zones”. With wireless speeds N to 300Mbps, Range Extender button and miniature size design for wall mounting, expanding a wireless network had never been so simple. In addition, its Ethernet port allows TL-WA850RE to act as a wireless adapter to convert a wiring device into a wireless one.

Ranger to 300Mbps

The TL-WA850RE is designed to comfortably expand coverage and improve the signal intensity of an existing wireless network to eliminate “dead zones”, helping users maintain an existing wireless network and greatly improve network coverage. With 802.11n wireless speeds at 300Mbps, it is ideal for video streaming, music streaming and network games.

Installation Simple

The miniature size design for wall mounting of the device facilitates installation and makes your transfer flexible. In addition, the TL-WA850RE profile function recalls previously paired wireless networks, which means that it is not necessary to restart the device when switching from associated router.

Plug and Play

Without new wiring, within the scope of your existing wireless network, users can easily expand wireless coverage by pressing the WPS button on your router and then the Range Extender button on your TL-WA850RE or vice versa. An additional push on the pairing button can quickly establish an encrypted connection with client devices.

Bridge Ethernet

The only TL-WA850RE Ethernet port allows the Extender to operate as a wireless adapter to connect wiring devices such as Blu-ray® players, game consoles, digital video-recorders and TV with Internet access. At the same time, the device can share the wireless network.

Intelligent Signal Luminous Indicator

Its 5 luminous indicators represent the current signal intensity that the TL-WA850RE receives from the existing router, which can help find the ideal location to place the range extender so that the TL-WA850RE can achieve the best reach and performance of the network as possible.
