Description

This adapter Delock can be used to extract the audio signal from a transmission HDMI. While the video signal is displayed on a television or monitor, the audio signal can be sent through the second HDMI port to a surround sound receiver. This allows an existing AV receiver or sound bar to be used, even if there is no proper Ultra-HD connection available.

HDMI audio output
Unlike conventional S/PDIF digital audio outputs, HDMI audio output can be used to transmit all modern surround sound formats to the receiver.

Audio Return Channel (ARC)
Alternatively, the eARC function can be activated in the extractor. Then, the audio signal of the connected TV device is broadcast in the HDMI audio port of the device.

Note

Operation on the HDMI ARC connector of a soundbar is not possible, the extractor requires a normal HDMI input.
